Terms of Service
Review the terms and clinical responsibilities associated with the licensing and use of Klinio software.
1. License Grant and Use
Klinio grants the subscribing clinic a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and run the Windows desktop application, configure web access, and log in to authorized companion mobile layouts according to the active subscription package limits.
2. Account Security & Responsibilities
The clinic is responsible for securing admin and doctor credentials. Authorized accounts must not be shared outside of the licensing parameters. Subscribing clinics are responsible for patient consent management and verification of all uploaded files.
3. Clinical Judgment & Medical Disclaimer
Klinio does not diagnose, treat, or replace professional clinical judgment. Clinical responsibility remains entirely with the licensed professional. Klinio is structured as an operations, documentation, patient file log, scheduling, payment tracking, and drafting assistant. The software does not provide clinical decision systems, prescription systems, or automated treatment decisions.
4. AI-Assisted Drafting
Klinio includes AI credits designed to draft patient summaries, follow-up messages, and treatment proposals from clinician inputs. Every AI drafting output is a draft and must be reviewed and approved by a licensed clinician before publication or communication to a patient.
5. Subscription, Payments, & Add-ons
Subscriptions (Klinio Core, branch add-ons, cloud backup limits, and AI credits) are billed monthly or annually. Failure to process renewals will result in suspension of cloud synchronization access. However, because Klinio is local-first, clinicians retain read access to local database caches on their workstations.
6. Termination & Deletion
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon termination, clinical sync data will be retained for 30 days before being purged from our cloud storage networks. Clinicians are responsible for backing up their files locally.
7. Limitation of Liability
Klinio Software shall not be held liable for clinical errors, treatment decisions, document errors, clinical documentation mistakes, or loss of local database files due to hardware failure. The clinician holds absolute responsibility for patient care.
